Clos 15 Merlot

Appearance: Dark violet in colour with a brilliant appearance.

Aroma: The first impression is of extremely intense aromas, especially of smoked and roasted fare, coffee and truffles. But as you move the wine around in the glass, fruits such as raspberry and ginger begin to emerge.

Taste: In the mouth it has body, moderate alcohol and strength. The tannins, which have been rounded out by their period in the bottle, stand out. The smoothness due to the ageing in oak barrels has been accentuated over time and the aromas of crystallised fruits have come to the fore.
