From an estate in Bouliac overlooking the Garonne river, this wine has a good backbone, a beautiful colour, lots of fruit and mellow.

Product Description

Château Montjouan
1ères Côtes de Bordeaux

Location : Estate located in Bouliac and overlooking the Garonne River

Vineyard area : 8 hectares

Soil: Clayey-calcareous and gravely with a good south-western orientation

Grapes varieties: 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc

Harvesting : Hand picking with sorting out at the cellar.

Winemaking : Traditional winemaking in thermo regulated stainless steel vats with a three-week vatting.

Ageing : For 12 to 15 months in barrels of which 25% are new.

Wine with a good backbone a beautiful colour, a lot of fruit and mellow woody tannins. Perfect to taste now on red meats and cheeses.
