Location : On a very beautiful soil in St Loubès north of Bordeaux

Vineyard area : 24 hectares.

Soil : Clayey, silt, siliceous and slightly gravely.

Grape varieties: 53 % Merlot noir, 31 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 % Cabernet Franc, 5 % Malbec, 1 % Petit Verdot.

Harvesting: Hand and mechanical wine harvest parcel by parcel.

Winemaking: Winemaking parcel by parcel in stainless steel vats for most (80%) and in epoxy covered concrete vats with automatic temperature monitor and long vatting.

Ageing : During 12 months partly in oak barrels (10%) renewed by third every year.

Production : About 454 670 bottles a year.

 

Powerful and elegant wine with a lot of fruit and mellow woody tannins. Gold and Silver Medals obtained at the Wine International Challenge and at the Concours des Grands Vins de France.

 

 

Product Description

This is a blend of 5 grapes, mostly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruity with mellow tannins, this, like its stablemate (below) is a multiple medal winner.
