Location: This previous property of Baronne Arthur de Brezets, bought in 1924 by the family Escure, is located in St Sulpice de Faleyrens
Vineyard area: 25.60 hectares.
Soil: Gravely and sandy with a sub-soil showing tracks of iron hardpan.
Grapes varieties: 70% merlot, 25% cabernet franc, 5% cabernet sauvignon
Age of the vines: 25 years
Harvesting: Hand-picking with sorting out at the cellar
Winemaking: Traditional winemaking in thermo regulated stainless steel vats with a 3-week-maceration
Ageing: In stainless steel vats and oak barrels during 20 months
A supple and generous wine with a great finesse and nice black-fruit and underground notes
Pleasant to drink from now but it will be better when ageing
